At first glance, Christmas and a text message have nothing to do with each other. But Christmas and especially December are the months with the most SMS messages sent. There are actually plenty of opportunities for one or another mass SMS. The first one is Advent, the hot season of Christmas shopping begins, and with it the first discounts and offers arrive via SMS. Why exactly via SMS? Quite simply, because the email inbox is already overflowing with offers and discounts, and you can get a lot of information from the SMS. Mass SMS There is still the possibility to stand out.
The next important appointment is that of Saint Nicholas; now the first ones are arriving. SMS Newsletter With wishes. And why should you not also give a small gift to Santa Claus? Clubs and discos offer free drinks (2 for 1), online shops offer vouchers, and sometimes it’s just about keeping customers happy by sending friendly greetings.
The friendly greetings are then sent as SMS on Christmas Eve. Not only companies and businesses do this, but many private individuals also send out their mass SMS messages at Christmas. The Christmas mass SMS has somewhat overshadowed the greeting card and has perhaps become somewhat impersonal in the process.
And then comes the SMS event of the year. Silverster. New Year's Eve is SMS day, or actually it's New Year's Day SMS day. As every year, the mobile networks in major cities are once again crashing, everyone wants to send „Happy New Year“ via SMS and every second person also wants to make phone calls. An explosive mix for the mobile network, especially when 80 million people want to send more than 80 million SMS messages at the same time :)
