How to send an email to SMS
Basically, we offer two different ways to send emails to the SMS gateway. You can send your email to a individual number send or also to a Distribution with multiple receivers.
The destination address of the email has a very specific format that allows us to process your email:

In this case, you enter your LOX24 customer number as user_id, the API key, and the target number (phone).
The other parameters are all optional:
About the SMS service (economy, pro, direct, text2speech) You can specify the type of SMS you want to send. For example, instead of an SMS, you can also trigger a voice call, in which your text is read out. You can also specify the sender ID of the SMS (sender_id). You can store this in advance in your web account and then select Sender ID 1, 2, or 3.
With text_source you can specify whether the subject of your email (1), the text of your email (2), or both (0) should be sent as SMS text.
Encoding allows you to specify whether to send a normal GSM or Unicode SMS, and max_sms_parts allows you to limit the number of characters in your SMS.
An email that sends an SMS to the number +1234567890 might look like this:

Send an email SMS to a group (distribution list)
You can also replace the phone parameter with a group. In this case, you save the recipients of your SMS online as an SMS distributor. Then, instead of the target number, enter the group ID and replace @mail2sms.lox24.eu with @email2bulk.lox24.eu.
This way we send your email as SMS to multiple recipients at the same time.
