In the future, there will be one password for logging in to our website. The keys are used for the SMS interface.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> If you want to use the interface in the future (also via external software such as Outlook), you must enter an API key and no longer the account password. The account password will no longer work for new customers or if you change the account password. In addition, the API key is no longer encoded as an MD5 hash value, but transmitted unencoded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What changes for regular customers?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>For existing customers, everything remains the same for now. If you change your account password with us, nothing changes for the interface for the time being. The old password remains as the API key. However, you must not try to transfer your new account password using the API.<\/li><li>We have automatically created an API key for you. This matches the MD5 hash of your old account password. This means that SMS sending continues as usual via the interface.<\/li><li>You can view, delete, or create new (additional) API keys in the settings and then under API Settings. So if you want to change the password for the interface, don't change the account password; instead, create a new API key in the account.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.buddydevs.com\/miguel\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/sms-masivo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8650\"\/><figcaption>Under Settings and API Settings, a new key can be created.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Our tip: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Change your account password regularly in the \u201eGeneral Settings\u201c and set a new API key in the API settings.
